I don’t know about you guys but I love make-up. No surprise there huh! I’ve been a make-up obsessive since my teens but blogging has really made my obsession worse. I can apply makeup pretty well but I’d love to really improve my skills. I don’t wanna be a professional makeup artist but I do want to know how to apply it like a pro so with this in mind I’ve been looking into signing up for a make up course.
Luckily I live just 30 mins from London so courses are plentiful. I thought it would be nice to do a round up of some of the makeup schools I’m currently looking into just in case others are having the same idea.
Jemma Kidd Makeup School
I’ve been a fan of her makeup line for ages and a few months back I attended an event there and met the lady herself. I have to say she impressed me and her passion for makeup is infectious. I’m particularly loving the look of the introduction to professional makeup artistry course which is a 2 day course.
Academy of Freelance Makeup
This makeup school is geared towards those wishing to become pro makeup artists. AOFM is a great makeup school though and I’ve actually had my makeup done by them on numerous occasions at different events. The masters certificate in professional makeup looks interesting and is aimed at beginners.

The Session School
This one sounds perfect for me. They do a 5 day foundation course that teaches you all the basics of makeup application and its geared towards those who want to learn for personal use rather than professional. You even get given a full professional makeup kit and brushes as part of the course fee.
