I get a lot of blog design questions on Twitter from bloggers looking to customise their theme and one question I received recently was ‘ How do I add a signature to my posts without having to add it manually everytime?’So today I’m going to demonstrate how to achieve this!So this is what I mean by a signature - First you need to create your signature in photo editing software such as Photoshop or phixr.com (online & free).Upload the image to photobucket and make a note of the direct link as shown below. Log in to Blogger.Navigate to Layout – Edit HTML – Proceed – Expand Widget Templates Search for the code below (Ctrl + F) <data:post.body/> Copy and paste the following code and insert directly below <data:post.body/>

Replace the url in the above code with the direct link from photobucket. Save. That’s it you now have a signature on all your posts. On an entirely different note – if your looking for a custom design I’m currently running an end of year promotion where I’m offering custom designs for the low price of £50. This includes a custom header, nav menu, social media icons & a signature. Just email me at firstname.lastname@example.org if your interested. Offer ends midnight Dec 31st. 10 Responses Faye Marie (@fayemarieblogs) January 1st, 2012 @pretastyleblog http://t.co/XZuJaGiH Reply Cheltz March 17th, 2012 The images here are missing. Reply Aurore Quessy February 11th, 2013 I used your CSS code for setting a specific width to my pictures … both landscape and portraits one. So now my signature is stretched while trying to put this code in my template. Any way to fix it please? Reply Leave a Reply Cancel Reply Your email address will not be published.
