If there’s one question I get asked more than anythings it is this – how can I jazz up my blog’s design? Now of course you can hire me to do the work for you or you can learn to do it yourself. There’s a multitude of sites and resources out there to help with design so I thought I’d detail some of them here! Enjoy! Pugly Pixel This site is amazing. I actually subscribe to her download club ($5 monthly) as she creates some amazing blog design resources. Katrina also writes brilliant tutorials on using photoshop and editing blogger templates as well as creating her own Blogger themes which are entirely free of charge. Japonizer A brilliant resource for creating a custom background for your blog. Japonizer allows you to choose from a whole variety of patterns, choose your colours and then select the size to download. Its ideal for creating a blog background and its totally free. Fuzzimo Another great site filled with free downloads that can be used in your blog design. Anyone who reads this blog regularly will remember that I used to have a header made using scrabble letters – well that header was made using a free download from Fuzzimo. Wish Wish Wish Not only does Carrie have great style but the photography on her blog is to the highest standard. In these particular posts she shares the photoshop steps she uses to edit her photos. She’s even created a free download of Photoshop Actions that will give your photos a vintage feel and look.So those are my go to sites and resources for improving the look of your blog (Just click on the images to be taken to the site) and don’t forget to look through the blogging tips category on this blog as I’ve created some blog design tutorials in months gone by. Happy designing! Leave a Reply Cancel Reply Your email address will not be published. Name* Email* Website Comment Notify me of follow-up comments by email. Notify me of new posts by email.
