A few weeks ago I attended a blogger’s breakfast for TOMS pop up shop in covent garden. It was a brilliant event and a lot of fun. We got to decorate t-shirts with glitter and pens which of course I was rubbish at. I so suck at art. But best of all I discovered more about the brand.
I of course read a lot of blogs so I knew of the brand and their reputation for creating super comfy shoes. I’m always looking for comfy flats as at 5ft11 heels make me look like a giant. I didn’t realise quite how many different styles and designs TOMS stock. They really do have something for everyone. But the best bit about them is their dedication to helping those in need. For every pair of TOMS sold the company donates one pair to a child in need in some of the poorest parts of the world.
TOMS recently launched an eyewear range too and for every pair of sunglasses sold they promise to help repair the eyesight of one person in parts of the world where adequate medical attention isn’t widespread. This dedication to helping others is awe inspiring and it is lovely to see a brand who use their revenue to help those less fortunate than ourselves.
TOMS usually sell through concessions but until the 28th June they have a pop up store in Covent Garden’s Seven Dials shopping center. They also have loads of activities and contests going on. So pop along.
Toms kindly let us choose our own pair too and I have to say they are indeed very comfortable. These will be perfect during press day season and will look great with a little summer dress. Unfortunately it isn’t quite warm enough for summer dresses yet so today I wore them with some skinnies.
